On Saturday July 24th the weather in Toronto really gave meaning to the cliche phrase "it's raining cats and dogs".  However, that did not stop the spirited participants of Swingers Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in support of Meal Exchange  from playing four solid games. From 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, teams of two were able to "swing" with the randomly picked Frisbee teams (that were appropriately given keys and chosen at random before each game) and score points to win awesome prizes. Though some players were serious about the game, having previous attended international Frisbee tournaments (Chicago Sandblast), true sportsmanship prevailed and the fun spirit of the event made the games fun for all levels of skill.

Participants had a blast and had the chance to mingle and meet many new people. It didn't matter whether it was your first time holding a Frisbee.  Newbies were being taught to flick by Frisbee veterans,  cheers were heard throughout the whole day and spirit games going on during break time really allowed everyone to get to know each other a little better. The day was a great success in all respects, and with the help of all the participants, $2,500 was raised in support of Meal Exchange!
