Meal Exchange’s Campus Chapter Network forms a crucial element of the organization, as it is our goal to support students interested in becoming leaders in food issues both on and off campus, and in turn ensure that the food movement in general benefits from the voices and input of Canada’s next generation of food leaders.

Meal Exchange Chapters run a variety of events and focus on issues important to their communities. These events can include anti-hunger and poverty relief campaigns such as Trick or Eat, Skip a Meal, and other food drives, to education and policy campaigns, such as Stomach This! or the National Student Food Charter, to the creation and support of Community Kitchens, Campus Gardens and Campus Food Banks.

If you’re a student who is:

  • Passionate about improving your community’s food system,
  • Excited to engage with students on your campus about this issue, and
  • Eager to connect with a national network of fellow student leaders working on campus food issues

We’re more than happy to discuss ways in which we can bring Meal Exchange programming to your campus!
